Your vehicle’s Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) helps you navigate the road safely with features like lane departure alarms and lane keep assist. It relies on a complex combination of cameras and sensors to work correctly. If they are misaligned, your ADAS may throw errors or fail to send the alerts you rely on to help keep you and your passengers safe.
Our team of experts is trained in ADAS calibration for Lane Departure Warning Systems (LDWS). If you need recalibration due to a windshield replacement, collision or other issue, request a quote today. Insurance will cover the cost as part of a windshield replacement.

When might I need ADAS recalibration?+
Technological advancements towards autonomous driving cars are making it necessary to have ADAS recalibration performed.
- After windshield replacement: Many modern vehicles have ADAS sensors behind or near the windshield. When it’s replaced, the sensors need recalibration at the same time. This doesn’t apply to all vehicles — we can help you determine if you need ADAS recalibration as part of your windshield repair.
- After some collision repairs: Repairs that involve the windshield, suspension, alignment, or other sensor-related parts of the vehicle may require ADAS recalibration.
- ADAS malfunction: If your lane detection system is giving you warnings and/or trying to adjust steering when your vehicle is in the center of your lane, you might need recalibration. It may also need recalibration if it is not alerting you or correcting steering when it should be.
What’s involved in ADAS calibration?+
Our team performs ADAS recalibration for lane departure warning (LDWS) alerts. The calibration process involves precisely aligning and testing the camera and sensors, and some vehicles also require driving the vehicle as part of the calibration process. ** It is recommended to have at least 3/4 tank of gas for proper weight distribution during the calibration process.
- If you need ADAS calibration as part of a windshield replacement, we will complete the replacement first. Your damaged glass will be replaced with a new DOT-compliant glass windshield that meets the required standard for your vehicle.
- If your camera and sensors are not broken or malfunctioning but only need recalibration, we will proceed. Otherwise, we will let you know about the need for a more extensive repair.
- We will use advanced ADAS calibration equipment to ensure your lane departure warning system functions properly. This may involve setting the correct camera or sensor angle, adjusting the mounting position, and then testing and verifying the calibration.
